Sick of the specs of the G-Wiz electric car, the guys over at Top Gear wanted to see if they could do better. The best way to describe it is they built a custom electric car that only a mother could love. Although I think she would be hesitant to take a ride in it.

Houston is starting a “Power of the Plug-in” program. They plan to convert 10 city Toyota Prius vehicles into plug-in hybrids and install 10 vehicle charging stations around the metropolitan area to power them. The objective of the program is “to raise consumer awareness” about electric cars and “promote Houston and Texas as an electric vehicle center.”
